Easter

Easter was filled with lots of friends, family and of course candy!

Placemat or Napkin

Madeline is now old enough to start Montessori.  With school comes a big list of things she needs for her first day.  One of those things is a re-usable placemat/napkin for lunch time. Of course my first stop was target to find something cute, but I had no luck.  As with most projects, I went a little overboard but I did end up with some of the coolest cloth placemats/napkins ever!  I made 7 and they are all my favorites :)  Chloe laid out the pink one (of course) ;)

I am now officially out of all of my cute fabric scraps.  Next time I have a project in mind I will have to go out to the store and actually buy fabric.  I won't pretend that it doesn't sound exciting to me :)

Dashing Through the Snow

On our last day with Amber, Tuesday and Bennet we wanted to do something special.   Enter horse drawn carriage ride through the woods.  It was amazing!

 Maddie got sleepy and fell asleep about 30 minutes in.

Look at this gorgeous horse!  What a work out!

 Bonfire.  We didn't last too long since all the kids were pretty tired.  

 To top it off we saw a mom and twins on our drive back through the neighborhood.  Yay!  We have a new family of moose to watch this summer!

We Started out Decorating Crowns....

Amber sent me to Burger King to pick up a frozen coke for her, and while I was there I got some free crowns to decorate!  Who knew they would just give them to us, how great!

Then we moved onto a giant canvas!  Nothing better than a group painting.  

Painted babies are adorable, especially this one!!

The Wedding

 Tuesday and Chloe love to pretend.  Here they are getting ready for their wedding. They were married bare foot on the beach.  Then they switched outfits and got married again.

We are loving having Tuesday and Bennet here to play!! (and Amber too)
