Dashing Through the Snow

On our last day with Amber, Tuesday and Bennet we wanted to do something special.   Enter horse drawn carriage ride through the woods.  It was amazing!

 Maddie got sleepy and fell asleep about 30 minutes in.

Look at this gorgeous horse!  What a work out!

 Bonfire.  We didn't last too long since all the kids were pretty tired.  

 To top it off we saw a mom and twins on our drive back through the neighborhood.  Yay!  We have a new family of moose to watch this summer!

We Started out Decorating Crowns....

Amber sent me to Burger King to pick up a frozen coke for her, and while I was there I got some free crowns to decorate!  Who knew they would just give them to us, how great!

Then we moved onto a giant canvas!  Nothing better than a group painting.  

Painted babies are adorable, especially this one!!

The Wedding

 Tuesday and Chloe love to pretend.  Here they are getting ready for their wedding. They were married bare foot on the beach.  Then they switched outfits and got married again.

We are loving having Tuesday and Bennet here to play!! (and Amber too)

Iditarod Weekend

It is our annual tradition to go to the ceremonial start of the iditarod sled dog race.  This year was extra fun because both girls were excited about the dogs.  It was also a super nice day!

 One team was from Jamaica!  Crazy right?!!

 I just had to put this one in.  So funny! "The Mushin' Mortician" Wow.

Did I Ever Show the Birthday Banner?

I don't know if I ever showed this totally awesome birthday banner I made last summer.  I looked all over etsy and just couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.  I wanted something colorful, modern and something I could use over and over again, not use once and toss.  No surprise.  It is quite often that I have a particular thing in mind and can not find it anywhere.  

I made the triangle shape using this great template I ordered on etsy.

And of course this perfect ribbon is from the Ribbon Jar (thanks Julie!!).  

 I am also a huge fan of easy pom-poms you can make yourself!!

 Now you know all of my party secrets :)

Special Breakfast

This is the best magazine in the world.  We have made SO MANY things from here and every one has been unbelievable.  We broke it out for Andrew's birthday breakfast.  Rich and Flaky Roasted Vegetable Tart.  Since it was his birthday not mine, we added bacon too.

 If you want to know how to make it just ask!!  It was so so so good.
