Morning Smoothie

Blueberries, bananas, beets, orange juice, almond milk and kale.  More please!

Oh I never thought about beets, I bet that's good. Do you cook those and the kale at all or just toss them in raw?

The beet puree was left over from my frozen baby food stash :) they were steamed then pureed. I would totally just throw them in raw if I didn't have this stuff to use. The kale was raw too. So good! If you use speckled banannas they add a great sweetness too!

Sounds delicious! And I have never thought about adding beets, but I think I'll give it a try! I usually do almond milk, almond yogurt (sometimes), bananas, blueberries or strawberries, spinach and oats! Yummy!!
